Lightstead

Set on open pasture north of Dallas, our Lightstead project transforms a standard ranch house into a retreat in the country. Hand-troweled plaster, white oak, and quartzite carry every room, with arched openings softening the transitions between them. Green marble runs through the primary bath and dressing room, and alabaster lighting anchors the main living spaces. Wood plank ceilings warm the primary suite and the entry, where steel doors open to the Texas landscape.
